It's not especially comfortable, but then, she's been worse off. And it's different when it's someone you care about. She cries quietly after the first few heavy sobs, shoulders shaking under his hand. It tapers off entierly soon enough and she leans back, scrubbing at her face.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to lose it like that," she says, rubbing away the few tears that are still dripping down, but she's smiling a little despite it.
