breakin_ur_lore: (only what others have taught me)

The blanket burrito Sans has turned himself into elicits some amount of sympathy from Med'an. As a teenager, he's certainly had days like that - except Sans' day is probably worse than just wanting to laze around in a warm bed forever.

It's been a sobering few weeks aboard the Moira, but he gives the skeleton a little smile. "Welcome back.”

A pause, and he glances back at the door automatically, as though his spells might become visible. This suddenly feels like a weird - bad - thing to say, but...it seems important for his roommates to know. (Even if they complained about it, Ryan.) "I put wards on our room. Alarm spells. I can...tell you who's at the door, if you need it.”

The situation with Sans and Chara seems...more complicated than he can or perhaps would like to understand, but he at least wants their room to be safe. For his own sake, yes, but for his roommates' as well. He had been taught since he was young that it was important, maybe the most important, to care for others. The strong protect the weak.

"Um...let me know if you need anything else."
