He's still frowning at the spill, looking around quickly to make sure no one expects him to clean it up. He's already decided its his night off and he's absolutely ready to yell that at anyone who remembers he's part of the cleaning crew.
"Right, right. You know you don't have to protect my feelings now." He looks up to her from the floor, studying her expression and deciding she doesn't look like she's about to freak out again. He relaxes and takes a seat again, this time grabbing the one farthest from her's at the table. "I do that, sometimes. Never had anyone throw anything over it. At least not here on the ship. I've freaked out Mom enough times back home to learn to dodge."
