Instead of fading to black, things fade to white.
The pressure's suddenly gone, a point only made more obvious for its sudden absence. Cayde finds himself on the ground at a knee and thankfully not on his face. His hand may as well be locked around his gun for how tightly it's gripped, but he expels something like a rattled breath as he slowly lifts his head, looking around blearily.
