(There was a lurking, whispering discomfort. The idea of adults touching kids without really asking that murmurs at the back of his mind. It's a dragging thought (...for a quarter...) that doesn't quite snag at the front of his mind, but leaves Eddie feeling cold as ice. There was something else too, something blanked out entirely in his mind, and he wasn't so sure if he wanted to know what it was anyway.
