IT'S TIME FOR BED
Who: Shiro and anyone who wants him to Take A Nap
When: once things have calmed down a little
Where: Shiro's room
What: Space Dad Needs A Nap. The kids decide a cuddle pile is the only way.
Warnings: possible SAD DAD warning. also found family feels and tooth-rotting sweetness
[The coffee is gone. No one can find any headache medicine. Their team is smaller. They're sleeping in strange new places. A lot has changed, but one thing remains the same.
Shiro refuses to take his much needed nap.
Which is why, on top of everything else, on top of deeply missing herfamily friends, Pidge has decided to take matters into her own hands. She definitely remembers that when she fell asleep curled into Shiro's side while he was staying in the hospital, the man had actually managed to stay asleep for longer than an hour or so. Which means that clearly, the way to get Shiro to get a good night's sleep is to physically be there to make sure of it.
She's managed to get Hunk in on her plan, and she's even texted a heads up to anyone who might care (We're making Shiro take a nap. Feel free to bring pillows). And then once they're ready, she and Hunk are making their way to Shiro's room with pillows tucked under their arms and blankets draped over their shoulders. They simply let themselves in, too, and Pidge proceeds to wordlessly toss all of her soft things onto Shiro's bed. She'll just leave the explaining to Hunk.]
