He doesn't answer. Not verbally anyway. Because the air is all but trembling around them, even while he stands his ground. That same roar, that veritable wall of sound, thunders again.

And as it echoes, something massive lands behind him.

It's definitely a giant robot. Definitely feline shaped. But cats don't typically have wings or metal plating the color of deep space. It lands with one foot dropped beside Shiro, who doesn't so much as blink as the huge, metal paw digs furrows in the earth. In fact, he puts a foot up on it, the gesture like someone resting their hand on their faithful animal familiar.

"You always say, you're supposed to be the end of the world."

He raises his voice a little, to carry over the gusting wind the Black Lion's descent created. It lowers its head, seemingly on its own accord, and he hooks a hand onto some hidden hold.

"So let's cancel the apocalypse."
