"Snake. The human." If that's how they're going to define themselves, then fine. But is it really as simple as that? No fancy title for a sentient arrangement of bones? Snake doesn't know what he was expecting, but it's not that.

He looks away from Sans for a few seconds, just long enough to explain to the leftover kids that they'll be making an escape and that they need to follow him closely and listen to whatever he says. Once everyone's on the same page, he starts down the hall.

After Snake's established that the coast is clear, he glances over at Sans. "So, how's that work? Where I'm from, skeletons usually can't do much unless they've got muscles and skin to support them." And organs, but details.
