Peter's not had the worst time on the ship. It was terrible at first, sure, but after running into Wanda he'd settled down a little. Any place his sister was couldn't be so bad, even if he'd already managed a fight. Still, he feels green enough about the place that when he gets the message, Peter decides to play along. It sounds like a better time than waiting around all day for the one person he knew to finish their duties.
