[ooc: I don’t have much time tonight. Can I write more tomorrow?]
Arrival
Of all the sensations taking part during the arrival, the one that bothered Dutch most was the temporary blindness. Long after it passed her hands found themselves touching her eyelids as she was mystified regarding what had interfered with her dearest sense. Once everything was stable, she looked around. It was all so strange, so different from the Brooklyn streets she’d been used to. Strangest of all, her boots - her treasured boots - are gone.
She turns to look at someone else who has also stumbled upon this strange place. Whether they belong here or not she doesn’t know, but she hopes they have a better idea of what’s going on than she does. Dutch needs a little direction. Without it she’s lost.
“What’s going on?” She asks in a low voice, her British accent coloring her words.
