Mei isn't having as hard a time as some others with the cold. She has her parka and is used to harsh environments. So she's doing what she can to help down on Kauto when she needs a break from staring at equations at the Ingress Complex. Usually it's running supplies to people, and right now she's finished her latest delivery, so she's on the lookout for someone she can help. Seeing Kazuhira getting into an altercation with a couple locals, she sees the opportunity to insert herself before they come to blows.

"Kaz!" she calls out, shortening his name for the first time in her rush to get to his side. If these people think they're going to be bullies, they're getting a piece of her mind.
