It sounded as though she attempted to say something else after that. Of course, whatever it was that she was trying to say was drowned out, since the pistol was designed to keep firing a continuous stream of water. Which was appropriate, in a way, but regardless.

A split second later, her reflexes kicked in, and she held up her hands to block the water. Away from her face, at any rate. So, while it splashed all over her dress and the ground around her, at least she was about to cry out:

"Put that thing down!!"
