keelahselai: (now that is a real tali look)

She's always been better at picking up people's emotions from tone and body language than from faces just because that's how she grew up - listening carefully and watching only generally. Maybe that, and all her time around mechanical systems, are why as they climb the stairs, she can hear the faint changes in that odd sort of rumbling. Though she couldn't explain it to anyone, she can hear what she thinks might be amusement - then pleasure-- or, more accurately, smugness.

Both things she's never seen in an AI before - not that Tali has ever really talked to any AIs anyway; her experience is mostly theoretical - or in the geth, and how to destroy them.

He's not quarian - and it's incredibly ironic that she'd even compare the two - but there's enough of a likeness for her to get it all the same. Kazuhira Miller mentioned a masked person who'd reminded him of her description of a quarian - maybe this is him.

The only sounds for a few moments are that of their footsteps, her breathing and whatever mechanical part of him is making that odd rumbling rattle, which sounds oddly like something is broken - though Tali is nowhere near a position where she'd bring it up. Then,

"What does Clu categorise as a threat?"

For a moment, that's more important than what lightjets and rezzing are.
