[Eric just shakes his head again, taking another sip of his coffee- if he wanted to see what was in Eric's back pocket he was going to stick with the basics, simple stuff, elemental work.
He lays his hand on the table palm upwards, his free hand still holding the coffee cup to his lips. He conjures them individually- first a ball of flame that burns too bright, his favourite element, the flame dies being replaced by a tornado that whips itself into a frenzy before he kills it, next a small ball of water hangs in the air only to dissipate into nothingness... the last is tricky though, Earth wasn't omnipresent the way the other elements were... he reaches for the salt shaker on the table and pours some of it into his hand as his brows furrow, placing the coffee cup down again and clasping his hands around the salt- when he removes the hand the salt has bound together forming a small solid totem in his hand.]
There we are, four of the five elements. [He figures that was enough, he's never been one for being too showy.]
