What: March's catch-all has our former assassin figuring out the complexities of the Ingress for the sake of a fledgling tea business. In R1 he'll be setting up shop, and in R5 he's lending a helping hand with the newcomers.

[A. The Ingress Complex]

[Assassins rarely ever procrastinate, but when Venom realized he had to travel to the Ingress Complex again, he put it off. For days. Something about the area doesn't sit well with him. It might be all the technology. Actually, it probably is all the tech and scientists walking about. How these people trust tech is beyond him. Even having this TAB makes him a little nervous. But he tries not to let it get to him as he approaches, wondering how he can get what he needs.

Knowing him, he'll calmly stop the first person he sees to ask for help. Just act natural and they won't suspect that you're clueless, Venom.]

[B. R1 - Setting up Shop]

[Finally. The spot's been approved and the plan can move forward. It's time for Venom to put his past and title as Guild leader to rest. While it wasn't some kind of life goal, he can see himself doing this job for a while. He gets to share his passion for tea with others, and even learn more about coffee. He sends out a couple of messages to see if anyone's interested in helping him move a few things around or help clean the space. All are welcome, including casual visitors who just want to peek in.]

[C. R1 - Now Open!]

[Here's the mingle option, so feel free to make up your own selection and try some tea!]

[D. R5 - Moving Day]

[Whoa, Nate wasn't kidding about this place. Venom could get lost here if it wasn't for his current job. He can be found moving parcels and baggage to the newcomers' homes, all while he's marveling at the contradictory structures. Maybe once he's done for the day, he can sneak in for a library visit.]

[ Well, there's one guy that definitely didn't need an invitation to help set up shop. Jim is there, arriving at the same time Venom is, to help move everything in, and offer the odd distraction or two every once in a while. Even though most of the distraction is usually a here try this, it might also turn into one or the other (usually Jim) stealing a quick kiss when others aren't looking.

At the next bit of prompting, though, he chuckles, eyes crinkling at the corners with mirth. ]

If you give me much more tea I think I might float away.

[The help with moving the furniture and product definitely helped, though what Venom doesn't expect are the bits of affection between the moves and tastings. Jim practically showered him with little kisses to the cheek, forehead, lips while everyone else was occupied. The experience of receiving such affection after they've... consummated their relationship feels a bit different. Like it's on a deeper level.

Or maybe Venom's overthinking it. That this is normal behavior when one is in a relationship. He tries to distract his thoughts by offering Jim yet another sample, only to be met with the possibility that he might float away.]

Ah. Then perhaps we should switch to some coffee, then? One of my sellers suggested a blend for iced coffee. It might be more refreshing compared to the hot tea we've been trying.

[ Jim is not as overly affectionate as his easy nature might belie. His stray touches and reassuring grips are little more than a show, and reserved mainly for those he calls friend or family. Venom, it seems, inspires him in ways he hasn't been inspired in years, and he is surprised to find he enjoys it.

If Venom finds it feels like things are on a deeper level, Jim feels much the same way, so maybe it's a little weird for them both. He chuckles a little as the other man pulls back on his offer, grinning wide, and nodding. ]

Somebody's gotta be the test subject, right? I guess I'll have to volunteer, I don't think the resident tea drinker is going to handle the coffee tasting that well.

[As much as Venom wants to protest that remark, Jim has a point. For one, his taste buds are more in line with describing the nuances of tea. And two, he's only had coffee about twice in his whole life. It was more Lord Zato's beverage of choice outside of brandy.

This blend would be completely new and is said to be very strong. It had to stand up to ice, after all. He followed the brewing instructions as needed, chilling and serving a small portion to his partner.]

Would you like some cream and sugar?

[ Jim wouldn't really consider himself to be a coffee aficionado but maybe he drinks enough to get by, who knows? He watches him make the drink, and shakes his head to decline cream and sugar. ]

Nah, I don't drink it that way, but thanks.

All right. Let me know what you think.

[There's not much of a smell to it, otherwise he'd try to identify its strength and flavor from that. It sort of smells like coffee, and is cold to the touch.]

[ He takes a sip of the coffee after he's handed it, taking time to actually taste it, and not guzzle it down like so many mornings when he's going over reports on the Enterprise/i>. It's strong, that's for certain, but it's good. There's nuance to flavor even under the stronger taste of the coffee bean. He's almost curious as to whether cream or sweetener would change that delicate balance and how that might happen.

Maybe he'll be a little adventurous today. ]

I like that. It's more refreshing than I thought it'd be.

[The reaction is pleasing to hear. He invested a few sencs into buying the blend in hopes of someone liking it. Looks like he made a good choice.]

It's not too bitter I hope. That tends to be my main issue with most coffee.

[Unlike his beloved tea which can be taken however one pleases without compromising flavor.]

[ Jim's willing to bet a lot of people will like that one, especially when it's warm out but they still want some coffee without having to get something scalding hot. Jim takes another sip, and shakes his head. ]

No, it's not. It does tend to be an acquired taste though.

[ He grins as he says it, tone one of teasing. Spock tended to err to the side of not liking coffee himself. ]

[Venom feels he will never get tired of seeing this man smile. He pours another small glass for himself along with the cream. He takes a sip for himself, and while it's definitely not bitter, the cream adds a nice body to it.]

I see what you mean. But I believe it's going on the menu.

[Now he has to decide which teas to put out for his opening. He wants to select a handful, not the thirty or so he's found.]
