And she notices the change in his growling. She can't exactly pin point what's the feeling behind it but it's obvious it's not a pleased one. Was there something in her question that made him more agitated? She wonders whether it's a reaction to bringing up appearances. He hadn't taken it well when she had demanded him to remove the helmet earlier. Of course, now J knows why.

In-system user also capable of modifying parameters. Isn't that what happened to him in past? The reason why he is the way he is now.

It's like she's walking on a thin ice now, toying with delicate subjects. This is the point where any sensible person would back off. Either thank for the time or at least try to carry the conversation somewhere else. But then again, when has J been any of that when it comes to Rinzler.

And well, isn't love and relationships the theme of the day?

"How about love, then? Do you guys pick your partners or does your user have to write you a girlfriend?"
