Okay then. That... jumped off the deep end into some significantly darker territory than expected. Either this kid was way older than they looked, or... they were some kind of other race entirely. Something with bad history. Enough to where they'd call themselves that.

"I'll keep that in mind." Maybe it's stupid to keep thinking of this person as a kid. But... it's hard not to. And he can't say why.
