Time to Invade some Space (Open)
Who: Blackarachnia and you!
When: Once a week, throughout this month.
Where: Anywhere!
What: Time to people watch! BA wants to get closer to humans, so why not spy in her large spider form~?
Warnings: Spiderrrs
’Ugh, this is so ridiculous.’
No doubt. This organic watching, Or people watching, (she couldn’t care less what term they used) all seemed to act the same. All that mattered was that she’d learn how they act, so she can act normally like them.
Because she doesn’t want to stand out anymore than she does now.
It was becoming increasingly aware for her that her kind wasn’t as equally populated on this ship compared to the other races. And it shouldn’t be getting to her, but it does. If she was an organic, she should also be getting along with this side of the ship, but she’s not and is finding it pretty difficult. So instead of feeling sorry for herself, Blackarachnia’s going to do herself a favor and learn from this special population. It will be useful, it will be smart, and…well not being lonely was a plus.
So why not?
She doesn’t want to stand out too much, so BA will be climbing walls or hanging out in webs in her spider form. As long as she can look at strangers and how they act, enough for her to mimic, any spot is nice.
Notes: Anybody can jump in, not just humans. Feel free to interrupt or bug her special mission. :D

Their movements are efficient and orderly as they sweep through each room in the complex. A quick assessment of the surroundings and, should there be evidence of something salvageable among the wreckage, a ruthless pillaging of any supplies they can carry - blankets, fragments of an old technology that appear to be mostly whole, documents with transcripts that appear to be halfway legible. Those are appropriated and secreted somewhere upon their person.
Otherwise?
* Nothing useful.
The feeling of being watched benefits no one, much less a child with a proclivity for violence. Something eight-legged catches their eye, inevitably, and for a moment they think - inanely - that perhaps Muffet was unlucky enough to be pulled through the Ingress.
Of course not. But like so many other monsters, she fell easily enough, and so will this one, should it prove to be a problem.
Chara lifts their scarlet gaze to stare at the offending creature suspended in its web, their tone dulled with a cold, casual judgment.
"Have you something to say to me, I suggest you say it and move on," they inform her icily. "Silent observation benefits no one."
A hypocritical statement, particularly coming from them. It matters very little, however, considering that they do not care.

And then it talked and she was slightly surprised...but annoyed though. "But you're wrong, small one, for it's been benefiting me allll day."
no subject
"I beg to differ." A quirk of an eyebrow, lifted in wry skepticism. "Whatever you believe you stand to gain from it, I suggest you re-evaluate posthaste."
no subject
"And why is that?"
no subject
That is when they smile, a thin curving of their lips, straining the edges of what one might think would be naturally sitting upon an otherwise quite human face's features. Consider Chara feeling - threatened.

Yori's only ever had bad experiences with gridbugs in her home system, and while the kinds of bug in the User worlds were different they weren't exactly friendly. She isn't sure whether to say something or just retreat as fast as possible.
On the other hand...is that a crewmember's TAB on the armor?
It wouldn't be the strangest crewmember she's seen, either. "Hello?" she says first, as politely as she can manage.

It sounds robotic and shares the metallic sheen that is indicative of metal. But it's form and movements are too organic to be purely mechanical like it's speech would indicate. Regardless, she does not necessarily fit the criteria that Blackarachnia is looking for. The spirit stares at the massive spider anyway, unflinching.
"... TAB located. Status as crewmember confirmed," Fi stares at the spider on the wall for a moment before speaking up again. "What do you seek?"
no subject
"They need to get over themselves then. They aren't THAT important.
Also you must have robot eyes. You don't have to brag about that to me. I used to have them too." And she would poke hers, but since she's techno-organic, it would only squish and hurt her.
no subject
"Are you lost? You seem lost." As if helping and locating stuff is her job, but watching a lost organic is not going to help improve her social skills. So why not?
no subject
Interesting.
"I'm a techno-organic seeking how other organics usually behave." Pause "Are you a sentient-being based on technology?"
no subject
Creepy, are they not? People do not seem to appreciate Chara's eyes, or their smile - or anything about them, really! They just happen to be fundamentally unlikeable on every level! Fancy that!

If she claims to be lost, would it help? Yori can't quite manage to let that assumption of her competence go. "Exploring," she corrects, with a mild sense of shame. It's true she shouldn't be so far from the crew, but the crew as a whole makes so much noise. This area had been marked safe. If any area in a foreign system can be called safe. "I could get back. Perhaps not the most direct route."
Her stored maps are less than adequate. Hence the decision to explore.
"It just gets so crowded in camp. So many people."
Almost all of them Users, she doesn't say, and therefore technically the kind of people who'd created Yori. She never quite gets accustomed to that.
Is a giant gridbug-like creature a User? Probably.
"My name is Yori," she tries for courtesy, offering a smile.
no subject
"Really? So are mine. And I struck gold by having several more~."
And she gives off two playful winks. "I just stated robot because I rarely, if ever, see this glamorous color of ours."
no subject
"Everything seems like a mess, but that's my life everyday on here. Glad to know we share one mindset."
She doesn't smile, but she does nod. "Nice to meet you. The name's Blackarachnia. It seems you don't scare easily. I like that."
no subject
"I suppose being a demon has its perks." Such as a creepy and wholly unnaturally eye color that will surely earn them all manner of odd looks in the future. They can see it happening now.
no subject
"Myyyyy, you seem to be my very first demon. I never encountered one before! In fact, I thought your kind was just a legend among weak idiots."
no subject
"Though I suppose even that is up in the air!"
no subject
"I am a spirit created by Her Grace to aid her Chosen Hero," seems simple enough.
"In my time aboard the Moira, I have heard myself being compared with entities called 'Artificial Intelligences', though I do not believe that to be an accurate description."
Close inspection will reveal that, though she mimics movements that appear natural she is simply going through the motions. Fi does not breath and her posture is stiff as posed there.

Their crashed survivor trek is very much a mess, but Yori's found reasons to stay if it's possible.
