"Let them in, and take them out."

Heh. It looks like it could use a couple hundred stitches or maybe be used as a fishing net. [His tone cracks in amusement, but is far from judging the value of item. In fact, in his mind's eye it's actually a good find and good start to what they're doing. Collecting stuff for themselves or other people, right. Now that he thinks about it...]
What do you plan on doing with the stuff you find? [He asks curiously] It's a good idea. I just have more than enough for myself. Maybe we share with other people. Or trade what we find.

Trying to sew it back up might take a while, but a fishing net isn't a bad idea! [A soft laugh passes his lips at the tone of Carl's voice, his hands carefully folding the blanket into a more compact item to be carried. Kurt's brow furrows with contemplation at the question as he tucks the blanket beneath his arm and lifts the hand to his chin.]
Actually, I had thought about offering up the things I find to other people earlier. [He averts his gaze to the younger boy, fangs gleaming in another grin.] It would seem that we have a like-minded thought.
[The sharing, he means.]

Yeah, it doesn't look like it's bad, but it doesn't look warm enough to keep off the cold. If we find a lake or something it'd probably be strong enough to hold fishes. [He says confidently, sounding like he knows more than he actually does when it comes to fishing.
His smile grows a little more when the blue teenager admits they share the same idea. There was always something to be said about people who showed that they didn't just think about themselves, Carl feels. It gave him a good feeling.]
You did? I mean, it's a good idea looking out for everyone when we all already helping each other figure out how to get home. I thought about maybe a trade system too, but I wouldn't know where to start. [His attention veers off in thought a little, then slides back. He is about to add something in addition to his thoughts but he's caught a little off guard when he sees fangs and his smile fades out and back on his face. Takes him a second to adjust to looking at fangs. They're pretty cool once he isn't surprised, though.
Back to what he was about to say anyway.]
Uh... it doesn't really matter to me if I get anything back for the stuff I don't need though.

[Their mutual agreement to share what they find assures Kurt that Carl isn't one of those people that only take for themselves; he's met too many of those in his lifetime and it's rather refreshing to meet someone who thinks with the same good heart as himself.]
Mm-hmm. What gut would it do me to keep things that I don't need? It's rather selfish when I say it out loud, actually. A trade system would be a great plan, but ja, I wouldn't know where to start either. [He almost lifts his hand to cover his mouth, but once he notices Carl's quick recovery, he hesitantly lowers the arm to keep from hiding the fangs.
He knows he needs to get used to people being surprised by them, yet he always reacts with his own form of nervousness when someone is startled.]
Oh, no, I wouldn't expect anything back. If someone needed a blanket and I had more than one, I'd give it to them.
