[When the arm appears behind her back seemingly from nowhere, J thoughts automatically jump to Peter for a split second. He's certainly saved her from falling down like this before by suddenly running behind her to catch her in middle air. But of course it becomes pretty quickly clear to her that this is not Peter, nor anyone she knew. It had been so dark when he had turned towards her first that J hadn't been able to take a good look at him. But now that they were up close like this she certainly could see everything clearly.

Now, J hasn't been afraid of nonhumans or spooked by weird looking people for a long time. Guess that living with actual skeleton for months did the trick to shake that off. But maybe it was the eerie and downright horrendous atmosphere in the floor, memories of the weird monsters that had attacked not too long time ago or whatever, that made her let out another scream at the sight of the bright red eyes and pointy teeth.

And along the scream she raises her hand to slap his face.]
