Why this concept combines a spear and a three-section staff. Someone manages to get in close, two quick twists and you're taking away the advantage they thought they had.
The great thing about the spear though is that, not only does it keep opponents on their toes and at a distance, it can very easily set up other attacks from teammates.
Perfect for a team leader, if you ask me.
