The fact of their remembered love makes a subject much too complicated to expect Rinzler to guess. However little Yori is prepared to open the subject, he deserves to hear where she is.

"Are you doubting I could care about you because I haven't tried to kiss you yet?" Yori props her free hand on her waist, looking down and feeling intensely awkward. "If it's relevant, I haven't tried to kiss Tron here either. I'm still sorting out my own feelings about being gone from Encom, I don't want either of you to make that a competition or take my choice as any sort of value judgement. You're both important to me."

She shrugs, glances over. "But if it were stated as a competition, strictly to help you understand it, then, ah...staying Rinzler doesn't disqualify you."

Possibly the opposite, since Tron has been coping independently but Yori can't bear to calculate the results of leaving Rinzler alone with Clu. That's not a reason to jump into things before either of them is ready, but on the other hand, in her experience there is never a good time for emotions; they squeeze in between the necessary tasks and don't wait for permission.

She makes an attempt to rub reassurance into the armored elbow. "From what I've seen of Rinzler, I like him. I hope you will, too."
