[ Jim had lost track of how many corridors he had half-stumbled through before the exhaustion took over enough to stop him in his tracks. He hadn't found any people at all, even if he thought he heard some a time or two, but that could have easily been his being tired catching up with him. It was like he hadn't had any rest at all.
