"Alan-1 hasn't looked to see if it's integrated with my code," Tron replies simply. "I... haven't had the chance to ask him to look. It wasn't a pressing matter." Tron realizes quickly that Sam wouldn't know that Alan died during the attack... that won't be something easy to break, and Tron is grateful, momentarily, that Sam didn't have to experience the pain of losing Alan, even temporarily.
