...Except that the girl's age bothers her. The fact that the Ingress is apparently pulling in children to this situation? She doesn't like that. Adults, fine, but children? There's something wrong in that. Unable to help herself now, her caring instincts kicking in, she approaches the girl quietly but for the click of her heels on the metal flooring.
The temperature of the room is still rather cool--Elsa's fault--and some ice still dots the floor here or there, but other than that, things appear normal. Elsa herself, at least, appears normal. Although her dress might be a little over-the-top for the situation. All the same, she continues her approach, offering the girl a concerned smile.
"Are you all right?" She questions, coming to a pause a few feet away from her. Just because caring mode is activated doesn't mean she wants to get too close to the girl. Her powers weren't under control just moments ago, and she doesn't trust them to stay controlled. She doesn't want to harm anyone--especially not a child. "You look rather shaken."

When addressed, Kairi snaps her head around and... wow. Ok. It takes her a second to absorb that Elsa is talking to her because beautiful ballgowns are not common on giant space ships, at least the one's she's been told about.
"I'm..." Shocked. Overwhelmed. Scared. A bit angry. "I'm ok, its just a lot to take in right now, you know?"
no subject
"I understand." She nods. She'd just spent her own little period of time freaking out over the whole thing, so yeah, she gets it. It is a lot to take in, and she hasn't even taken the time yet to stare out at the endless expanse of space and stars, despite being on the observation deck.
"I would try to offer words of comfort, but I'm afraid I'm just as...lost, about the whole thing." Casting a glance out the window, staring into the black, star-dotted expanse of space, it almost makes her dizzy. She quickly returns her attention to the girl. "It's going to be difficult to come to terms with, for certain."

The thought helps steady her shoulders, and her hand lets go of the railing. "Well, I guess we're not going to get any answers just standing here. Have you explored any parts of this ship? It wouldn't hurt to do a little exploring together, if you'd like."
no subject
The offer to explore together is one she has to think about, though. It would be best for her to simply head to her room and start with her seclusion from everyone else, she knows that. She's still uneasy and if she goes with this girl to explore, something could accidentally happen... But at the same time, she should get to know the ship that she's going to be living on for the next...however long, and this would be a good opportunity for it.
"I... I suppose we could do that," she replies after a moment, deciding that she's calm enough now that she should have things more or less under control. Oh, how she wishes she had her gloves though... "It would be wise to get to know our new home, wouldn't it?"
no subject
A small part of her wonders when she became so paranoid.
Looking up and down the corridor, she sees nobody else on the deck at the moment, which means that the most sensible action was to head deeper into the ship. She turns back to the blonde woman and tips her head.
"I'm sorry, I'm being rude. I'm Kairi."
no subject
"Oh no, please, you're not being rude. It's so easy to get distracted from courtesy in this situation." She waves off the lack of earlier introduction as though it's nothing--because really, it is. It's not as though she introduced herself earlier, either. They both had other things on their minds, and that's perfectly understandable.
"It's wonderful to meet you, Kairi. I'm Elsa."
